The Division of Pediatric Gastroenterology offers specialized care for a broad spectrum of medical conditions involving the gastrointestinal tract, liver, pancreas, and for disorders of nutrition. Our program offers state-of-the-art comprehensive diagnostic evaluation, therapy and follow-up of children from birth to 21 years of age.
In cases where examination of the gastrointestinal tract through a tiny fiberoptic camera called an endoscope is required, this service is skillfully provided in a child-friendly environment. Expert consultation is available for in-patients at Staten Island University Hospital and ambulatory patients at the Children’s Subspecialty Center.
Dr. Tyshkov received his fellowship training at New York Medical College-Westchester Medical Center and is Board Certified in Pedistric Gastroenterology
